MINT Tips - Excel 2
In this edition of MINT Tips we have more MS Excel tips for you.
- In Excel, next time you start to fill a series use a right-click on the fill handle (bottom right corner of the cell) instead of the usual left-click. This brings up a list of options for values you might want to fill.
- Use the Format Paint button (Paintbrush icon) to make cells look the same as other text in the sheet
- To copy Excel cells into Word so that they are useable and easy to format, copy in Excel and then use the Edit menu, Paste Special choice in Word. In the Paste Special window, select Microsoft Excel Worksheet Object as the type and click OK.
- To put a basic border around a selected group of cell, push Ctrl + Shift + &.
- Want to print the row and column headings? Click File, Page Setup, in the Sheet tab, tick Print Row and Column headings.
